High School Welcome Letters were mailed home last week by the DOE. 
If you did not receive a Welcome Letter, it is because your address is incorrect in our system. Have your parent/guardian call the school and speak with Ms. Pallas to verify your home address. The Welcome letter includes information for your parent/guardian to create a myschools account. This is the account that will be used to create your high school application. That window has NOT opened yet. The Specialized High School Exam Registration window is currently open. It closes on November 15th. If you would like to register for this exam, you must register via the myschools account. The exam will take place on December 2nd at IS 109- but you need to register for it by November 15th. You will receive a confirmation message once you complete the registration stating, "You have successfully registered for the SHSAT Exam." Our Guidance Team will provide students and families with more information in the coming weeks about the application process.
